Control cabinet for the control and monitoring of the central compressed air supply of a multipurpose offshore patrol ship of the Italian Navy. As an example for a very special customer-specific software and hardware development (PLC programming and visualization on a touch panel).
A total of four electric compressors, a diesel compressor and three electrically operated butterfly valves are operated via this central control cabinet. This is done by a simple-and-intuitive-to-use touch panel, which is also used to parameterize the limit values for the monitored signals.
The access rights are regulated by a 3-level password and the operation can be switched to multiple languages. In addition, a connection via modbus interface enables data exchange with the higher-level ship control system, which can also be used for remote control.
