Control cabinet valve actuator for a 70m mega yacht. Here a total of 82 motor driven valves are piloted, which receive their commands in automatic mode via the IMCS via Modbus. In case of failure each valve can also be operated separately by simply switching over to manual mode on the control cabinet.
Operation and visualization takes place via a 15 inch touch panel in the door of the control cabinet. To reduce the effort of cabling, the feedback signals of each valve (limit signals opened/closed) goes by AS-Interface (AS-i) module.
These modules have the degree of protecction IP67, are located near the valves and are interconnected to our control cabinet via the AS-i bus. As a special feature, this control cabinet also has an asymmetrically divided door, because for lack of space a single 800mm wide door could not be opened.
