Sponsorship contribution for the purchase of 18 “Tommy” comfort bears.
Tears, fear and panic – when children are involved in accidents, it is often
not easy for the emergency services
to help them. In order to be able to provide help quickly, many of
them now rely on Tommy the comforter bear – just like the Rettungsdienst
Kooperation in Schleswig-Holstein gGmbH. We think: That’s a good thing!
That’s why we support the project.
Children and parents are often under stress and shock in the event of an accident. A cuddly toy can
then help the little ones as a comforter. This is how the idea for the comforter bear came about.
Tommy is CE tested, complies with the EN standard for child-friendly toys and is of course
individually packed in a polybag. The cuddly bear comforts children and helps them to
build trust in the
emergency services and doctors. Tommy accompanies them through the
treatments and they can use him to show where they are in pain.
With the support of many local companies, Tommy the comforter bear is now
being used by the emergency services in the Steinburg district. A commitment that we
are very happy to support.
